Apr. 25th, 2006 09:47 amOK everybody, keep your fingers crossed for me. The employment agency is submitting my resume for a job that sounds really, really good. It's pretty much exactly what I want right now. I would really like to get an interview at least. The pay is fairly good too. Not what I was making at BRL, but close. Definitely enough to live on.
I could use a little good-luck at the moment.
I watched this movie called Me, You and Everyone We Know last night. I do not recommend it. Usually I like odd and deep movies. I didn't like this movie. I really wanted to, but I just didn't. I suppose a big part of it was that I couldn't identify or sympathize with the characters at all. I found the main female character extremely annoying. She plays this really bad artist. Essentially her "art" is looking at a photograph of a couple and then recording a dialogue between the couple. I just found something about the actress really unsettling.
The main male actor looked like a serial killer (how can someone look like a serial killer you ask? see the movie and you'll understand) and his character was really nervous the whole time. I kept waiting for him to do something really shocking and scary. The whole movie was kind of like that. It seemed like at any moment something bad was going to happen.
I got an reply from AEON about not getting paid yet, and they said they couldn't pay me because they needed more information (such as my bank name etc.). I feel really irritated about that considering I've been waiting two weeks. Were they ever planning on contacting me? I have bills to pay fuckers!
I lost 10 pounds in Japan. I weighed myself today. I can't believe I lost that much in only a month. Not that you can tell. It would be nice if I didn't get those 10 pounds back. I'd like to get down to my "fighting weight" for triathlon. Now, don't worry, nothing dramatic. I'm keeping my booty. You would be surprised how much faster you can go when you have less weighing you down. Especially on the bike.
