Apr. 7th, 2007 07:37 pmI am soooooooooooooooooooooo sick of apartment hunting. So, so so tired of looking at two varieties of apartments in Seattle:
1. Super cheap studios ($595-$650) with any of the following: stained carpet, stained ceiling, permanent stench of cigarettes, located next to dumpsters, creaky floors, no sunlight, basement location.
2. Overpriced studios and/or 1 bedrooms ($750-$950) that will soon be converted to condos, like everything in Seattle.
I long for my Queen Anne studio. I would be thinking "why, WHY, did I ever move?" except that I moved to go to Japan and we all know how well that played out. I'm not complaining. I like the direction my life is going. I_just_want_to_find_a_damn_apartment. I have a set of lovely new flour and sugar containers still wrapped in plastic! I have dishes from Japan I have never used! I have been looking for five weeks. It's bound to happen soon right?
