I just can't stand the ideal that hollywood has created for women. Has anyone seen Keira Knightly lately? Of COURSE not. You can't see her because she's too thin for the visible eye. Is that really what people think is attractive? Don't we all want a little butt to grab onto? A little meat on our bones? Isn't it kind of ridiculous that most Americans these days are at least a teensy bit heavier than the average used to be; yet we have this ideal about being super anorexic thin. Right now it seems like the only women with any bit of meat on them in hollywood are Scarlett Johansson and Kate Winslett. It's really only a matter of time before they show up looking skeletal too.
To be honest, my head just doesn't turn for the emaciated boney chick. I check out everyone around me. I can't help it. I'm not looking in a sexual way. (well OK maybe sometimes sure) I just think humans in general are interesting looking. (Actually as a side note, I got really bored with looking at people in Japan)
And sorry guys, but women are way more interesting to look at. I have plenty of time to look because I ride a really busy bus route. Don't you think it's more interesting when someone has a standout feature such as a well-developed booty? Or perhaps a nice strong set of legs? I don't want to see ribs. I don't want to see rolls either to be totally honest. Just healthy looking people. People who look like they eat everything from asparagus to ben and jerry's and get some exercise.
Sigh. This is all sparked by the two VERY hungry looking college-aged women that got on my bus today. EAT DAMNIT!
I had a meatball sub with fake meatballs, a salad, and some chocolate for dinner. Food is love.

Date: 2006-06-17 07:33 am (UTC)like you i prefer the body of kate winslet and elisabeth shue. both normal sized women, and not walking windchimes or whales on feet.
women are definitely more interesting to look at. when men were designed the creator was just playing with ideas. perfection came with the next model.
