I took three days off from training this week. I really needed it. Both because I was feeling kind of rotten, but also a little burnt-out and overtrained. I also weighed myself for the first time since May and I'm down 7 pounds, which is GOOD. I need to lose another 7-10 before race day. If I could just quit my ice cream habit...

I had an EXCELLENT run/swim this morning. I ran for an hour without much pain or struggle. I think the rest helped a lot. As well as a good ipod mix and the right nutrition beforehand. I swam like a dolphin too. I think if I had tried really hard I could have flipped out of the pool and let out a nice *SQUEAK!*

Not much else to report. I'm trying to really relax this weekend.
