It was cold today. I don't think we got over 60 degrees. Summer stormed off so fast I missed it. I wore a sweater, raincoat, and thick dress pants today. Several of my coworkers were wearing WOOL today. I'm not used to the seasons transitioning so dramatically. It's usually so gradual here.
My coworker, newly transplanted from Pittsburg was whining about the rain this morning. I asked her if she knew she had moved to Seattle. It's gray here. Alot.

I'm hoping to go to the county fair this weekend. I haven't been in forever. I have high hopes about certain delicious fair food, sickening rides, and farm animals.

Last night one of my students (a Shinto priest) wanted only to talk about Seattle. He loves himself some Seattle and has visited a few times. It's the only place he goes on vacation.
